Laxtons are proud to announce we have invested in a brand new manufacturing plant here in the UK.
All our yarns, both Worsted and Fancy, are now manufactured in our new production facility in Guiseley, West Yorkshire.
From here we control all the elements of yarn production from fibre selection and blending, through spinning and twisting, to finished package.
With the emphasis on natural fibres such as wool, silk, mohair and alpaca our yarns find their way into a diverse range of products.
Chunky yarns for branded hand knitting, boucle and slub yarns to add character to furnishing fabrics or woven apparel and British Wool for machine knitted accessories are just a few examples of the varied end uses for our yarns.
